Healing is possible — even when it doesn't feel like it yet.
EMDR-trained, trauma-responsive care for clients carrying acute, complex, or intergenerational trauma.
Why trauma work is different
Trauma lives in the body — not just the story.
Trauma lives in the body, the nervous system, and the story we tell ourselves about who we are. Traditional talk therapy sometimes helps us understand what happened but cannot fully release what was stored.
Dr. Gina is EMDR-trained and certified as a trauma-responsive therapist, which means she is equipped to help you process — not just analyze — what you have carried.
What is EMDR? Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain reprocess traumatic memories so they no longer hijack the present. You do not have to relive the memory in detail. You do need a skilled, attuned clinician — which is exactly what EMDR requires.
